Claire Mance, Healthy Communities Coordinator – Mance provided overview of her efforts  
to expand awareness of food security screening tools and resources to pediatric  
residents at UW.  
A motion was made by ENGELBERGER, seconded by RIPP, that the Ordinance be  
recommended for approval. The motion carried by a voice vote 6-0, YGP 2-0.

2023 Budget Request & Director Report – Carrie Edgar – Edgar provided a brief  
overview of the department’s 2023 budget request, a staffing update – new Family  
Relationship educator position filled and will start Jan 1. Currently screening candidates  
for the Bilingual Youth Development position. September Program Summary report was  
shared with all.
