Potential motion to accept the final Strategic Plan for Dane County Community  
Justice Council  
A motion was made by OZANNE, seconded by AGARD, to accept the final  
Strategic Plan for the Community Justice Council. The motion passed on a  
voice vote.

A presentation by WRTP on the Pave Your Path program, which provides  
pre-apprenticeship training for Dane County residents who are in jail and/or have  
been arrested in the past.  
Discussion ensued regarding:  
Connections with the Wisconsin Department of Corrections  
Housing and other barriers to success  
The relationship with the Dane County Jail, and changes that may occur when  
the new jail space opens  
The possibility of working with municipal courts

3. Community Justice Council Subcommittees: New Members and Reporting  
Chair Hyland has received nominations for community member seats on the  
Community Justice Council subcommittees. The new members should be  
announced before the next Community Justice Council meeting.  
Subcommittee chairs are expected to present reports on their subcommittee's  
activities to the Community Justice Council biannually, beginning with the next  
meeting.

Justice Reform is part of a housing partnership that may present at the February  
meeting.

Discussion regarding the need for a regional strategy to address behavioral  
health, criminal justice, and homelessness.
