The September 26, 2024 Environment, Agriculture & Natural Resources Committee meeting will be a

E. Budget Discussion & Amendments  
1. Budget Overview by Dane County Extension and the Land & Water Resources Department  
James Penczykowski spoke in support of county funding for food panties through either  
unspent ARP dollars or with general fund revenue.  
Supervisor Chawla shared that he is considering budget amendments for wetland  
restoration and cropland conversion and invited committee members to join him if  
interested.  
October 8th will be the second EANR budget meeting and proposed amendments are  
due by 10:00 am on October 7th.  
Directors Edgar and Hicklin gave brief summaries of the Dane County Extension  
and Land & Water Resources Department budgets.
