A motion was made by BROWER that the minutes be approved. The motion  
carried by voice vote.

A motion to self-nominate was made by TUBBS, seconded by  
WEATHERBY-FLOWERS. The motion carried by unanimous consent.  
2. Vote for Vice-Chair  
A motion to nominate WEATHERBY-FLOWERS was made by TUBBS,  
accepted by WEATHERBY-FLOWERS. The motion carried by unanimous  
consent.  
3. Vote for Secretary  
A motion to table voting was made by TUBBS. The motion carried by  
unanimous consent.  
4. Vote for additional meeting dates in 2024  
Discussion of dates available for EOC to meet. Unanimous vote on the  
following dates:

The EOC Chair will summarize meeting and other related activities on behalf of the  
Commission since the last Commission meeting. For information only. Any item raised  
for future discussion will be posted on the next agenda. Update from County Executives’  
Office.

Discussion on Dane County Equity Plans; this includes policy and procedures,  
processes on its main page, what’s representative of the plans, and a request  
for the template for review. Chair and Co-Chair to work together along with  
EOC dividing and reviewing the plans with an October 18, 2024, deadline  
subject to extending if needed.  
Discussion on complaints and resolutions; seeking outcome of the Henry Vilas  
Zoo’s latest complaint. EOC would like transparency with policy and  
procedures and how investigations are conducted.
