The Wednesday November 12, 2025 AAA Nutrition/Wellness Committee meeting will be a hybrid meeting.  
Members of the public can either attend in person or virtually via Zoom.  
The public can attend in person at the ADRC building, 2865 N Sherman Ave Room 109, Madison.  
The public can access the meeting virtually with the Zoom application or by telephone.

B. Consideration of Minutes  
Minutes from August 6, 2025  
A motion was made by SCHUSTER, seconded by MANCE, that the minutes be  
approved. The motion carried by a voice vote.

1. Food Insecurity in Dane County-Map the Meal Gap (Devika Suri, Data and Research  
Curator at Second Harvest Food bank of Southern WI)  
Second Harvest Food Insecurity in Dane County  
SURI presented on Food Insecurity data for Dane County. SURI discussed  
Second Harvest providing food to over 140 pantries throughout Dane  
County.  
2. Dining Site Reviews--Completed August to Present (Pazak)  
Site Reviews August to Present  
PAZAK presented her reviews of several meal sites.  
3. Program Accomplishments and What's Next? (Gabriel)  
Nutrition Program and What's Next  
GABRIEL reviewed The Aging Network flowchart and how things  
are changing with the Federal Government. GABRIEL discussed  
Congregate, HDM and a carryout site for Dane County locations.  
GABRIEL shared how the nutrition costs are figured using a nutrition  
meal cost spreadsheet. GABRIEL shared that the Messiah site will  
be closing January 1, 2026.  
D. Reports to Committee  
1. Dietitian Program Update  
a. Farmers Market Program Complete  
2025 season has ended. Dane County gave out 990  
vouchers totaling $24,750.  
b. Annual Training--Site Coordinators  
GABRIEL reported the activities of the annual training that is  
required of nutrition coordinators and volunteers.  
SCHUSTER left at 1pm.
