Motion made by BARING, seconded by PELLEBON, that the Minutes be approved.  
The motion carried by voice vote. HEINRICH abstained. Minutes approved.  
C. Action Items  
1. PIE Grant  
Discussion of revisions submitted to application. A motion was made by  
PELLEBON, seconded by HEINRICH, that the drafted PIE Grant application be  
approved. The motion carried by voice vote. PIE Grant application approved.  
Quote needed from a member of OEI Advisory for application press release  
and who will be members of review committee.

Discussion of drafted press release shown to members. Discussion for  
members of the OEI Advisory Board to assign a title to the press release and  
a primary contact be given by 09/27/2023.  
2. 2023 PIE Grant application  
Application approved with modifications.  
3. Membership  
Chair JONES reached out to County Board Supervisors and there is progress  
in appointments. There will be two individuals appointed. Chair JONES did  
speak to a possible member and will hear in October. Chair JONES would  
like to see community members from Sun Prairie and Verona. Discussion of  
who to reach out to for possible membership, that represent their community.  
4. Equity Plans  
Discussion for OEI Advisory to attend a monthly RESJ meeting in February.  
Members to start thinking about a possible presentation to RESJ group and  
have a conversation. Plans continue to be updated.
