A motion was made by MCGINNITY, seconded by GLAZER, that the Minutes be  
approved. The motion carried by a voice vote.

Letter from Dane County Broadband Task Force regarding Affordable  
Connectivity Program funding

McCallum discussed subscribers within Dane County, and that the funds for the  
program are projected to run out around April of 2024.  
Discussion ensued about additional funding for the program, and what would happen  
after the funds run out.  
A motion was made by GLAZER, seconded by MCGINNITY, that the Action Item  
be approved. The motion carried by a voice vote.

AMENDING THE 2024 OPERATING BUDGET TO ALLOCATE FUND  
FOR BROADBAND EXPANSION

Ratcliff discussed resolution with the Task Force.  
A motion was made by GLAZER, seconded by MCGINNITY, that the Resolution  
Requiring 2/3rds Vote be recommended for approval. The motion carried by a  
voice vote.

1. Broadband Coordinator Updates  
Jaron presenting  
-PSC capital projects funds opened up and closed earlier last month. Two apps  
submitted. Charter, Dunkirk rutland and dane county 2 million. Apps to be reviewed late  
winter early spring. ATT fiber project cottage sun prairie app was a bit more focused.  
-Towns meeting cottage grove on 12/6/23 - 6pm-830pm

Why broadband is important  
Past, Present, and Future of broadband expansion  
Funding for broadband  
-new broadband webpage where there is a bunch of information on broadband

-AECOM final report with edits included finished. 1-2 page preface being created  
2. Discuss the direction of the Broadband Task Force and meeting schedule  
Discussion ensued between Task Force members regarding the following items  
-End date of the Dane County Broadband Task Force  
-Meeting schedule for the Task Force  
-Makeup of the Task Force  
-Possible additional presentations to the Task Force  
A motion was made by LAUBER, seconded by ZENTNER, that the number of  
meetings of the Dane County Broadband Task Force be reduced. The motion  
carried unanimously.  
F. Future Meeting Items and Dates  
The next meeting is February 1st, 2024 at 9:00am and will take place  
in a hybrid format.

I. Adjourn  
A motion was made by GLAZER, seconded by MCGINNITY, that the meeting be  
adjourned. The motion carried unanimously.
