The July 24, 2024 Specialized Transportation Commission meeting will be a hybrid meeting. Members of  
the public can either attend in person or virtually via Zoom.  
The public can attend in person at 2865 N Sherman Avenue, Madison.  
The public can access the meeting virtually with the Zoom application or by telephone.

IN PERSON: Any members of the public wishing to register to speak on/support/oppose an agenda item

A motion was made by DOOLAN, seconded by MARREN, that the Minutes be  
approved. The motion carried by the following vote:

1. Election of Chairperson and Vice Chairperson  
a. Chair  
VELDRAN called for nominations for Chair. DOOLAN nominated VELDRAN.  
VELDRAN called three times for other nominations. VELDRAN was  
unanimously elected Chair (7-0).  
b. Vice Chair  
VELDRAN called for nominations for Vice Chair. VELDRAN nominated  
HARDESTY. VELDRAN called three times for nominations. HARDESTY was  
elected Vice Chair (7-0).  
2. 5310 Mobility Management Grant Application for 2024  
5310 APPLICATION  
A motion was made by HARDESTY, seconded by DOOLAN, that the 5310 Grant  
Application be approved. The motion carried by the following vote:

1. Updates from Transportation Call Center - Nathanael Brown  
BROWN mentioned he has been in touch with the County Executive's Office regarding  
the open Supervisor seat on the committee.  
BROWN will be back working full-time in November.

3. Updates from Greater Madison Metropolitan Planning Organization - Ben Lyman  
LYMAN said the STC Committee adopts the Coordinated Public Transit-Human Services  
Transportation Plan that guides the whole 5310 program. It has to be adopted by the  
end of the calendar year.
