PP&J MINUTES OF OCTOBER 9, 2025  
A motion was made by FURMAN that the Minutes be approved. The motion  
carried by a voice vote. 5-0  
C. Budget Discussion & Amendments  
PP&J COMMITTEE AMENDMENTS TO THE PROPOSED 2026 OPERATING  
BUDGET  
Members of the public that registered in opposition and wished to speak  
on PP&J-O-01 were: Greg Brockmeyer and Shelby Slaven.  
Members of the public that registered in support and wished to speak on  
PP&J-O-01 were: Eric Howland and Derek Wallace.  
Members of the public that registered in support and did not wish to speak  
on PP&J-O-01 were: Frances Hoffman, Jeanie Verschay, Erik Anderson,  
Rachel Friedman, Hannah Thomas, Kate Gravel, Chad Pronschinke, Karla  
Luna, Ann Lacy, and Jessica Gillette.

Miles presented. Motion to postpone to 10/21 meeting by Fuhrman. The  
motion carried by a voice vote 5-0; YGP: 2-0

D. Discussion - Pending Budget Amendments  
Chair Andrae informed the committee of a potential new operating  
amendment involving the Clerk of Courts. Clerk Okazaki briefly described  
the proposed amendment. Chair Andrae also informed the committee  
about a potential amendment involving a classification specialist at the  
Sheriff’s Office.
