D. Reports to Committee
Business Reports

Institute on a study for a Dane County minimal processing and distribution center – report
forthcoming. REAP got a USDA grant to create a virtual wholesale website for farmers to
sell their produce; it will be up in June. MOSES will be applying for a grant from USDA for
assisting farmers with land access and market access; Rooted staff time may be built
into this project.
- Land for cultivation. Based on Rooted work with community gardens and people who
have reached out to our larger land access list, there has been a decline in demand, at
least as presented to Rooted, and with the infrastructure that currently exists.
