The July 23, 2026 Environment, Agriculture & Natural Resources Committee meeting will be a hybrid

Land & Water Resources Department Staff and Sheriff's Department Staff gave

an overview of the process to update Chapter 71, including timeline, meeting

summary and public comment summary (see attached report).

Peter Taglia spoke in opposition to the OA. Margaret Fagerholm was present

and had questions regarding the OA but did not speak in support or opposition.

A motion was made by BLAZEWICZ that the Ordinance be recommended for

approval. The motion carried by a voice vote 5-0.
