May 21 EMS Commission meeting will be a hybrid meeting. Members of the public can either attend in  
person or virtually via Zoom.  
The public can attend in person at 2982 Kapec Rd. Fitchburg.  
The public can access the meeting virtually with the Zoom application or by telephone.

IN PERSON: Any members of the public wishing to register to speak on/support/oppose an agenda item  
can register in person at the meeting using paper registration forms. IT IS HIGHLY ENCOURAGED TO  
REGISTER VIA THE ZOOM LINK ABOVE EVEN IF YOU PLAN ON ATTENDING IN PERSON.  
In person registrations to provide public comment will be accepted throughout the meeting.

C. Discussion Items  
Sun Prairie Policy Forum Report  
Sun Prairie population and call volume has continued to grow. Sun Prairie has been  
helping several neighboring communities as well. Sun Prairie Fire and EMS District has  
to look forward to potential growth options and how to address different issues.  
Waunakee/Middleton Policy Forum Report  
No update since last month.  
CARES Update  
Chief Becher gave commission updates on CARES team response. Service into Sun  
Prairie expanded starting February and have had a total of 20 calls so far. Working on  
forward-facing public dashboard that will hopefully come online in the next month or two.  
Annual Report - Standing Item  
No update.  
Update from MAS - Standing Item  
Discussed medication shortages and protocols.  
911 Update - Standing Item  
PSCC broke ground on new dispatch center. Downtown location will become backup  
dispatch center.

DCEMS Office briefed Commission on current projects including EMS Week, Cardiac  
Arrest Survivor Celebration, R30, and Harm Reduction Vending Machines.
