The May 23, 2024, Executive Committee meeting will be a hybrid meeting. Members of the public can  
either attend in person or virtually via Zoom.  
The public can attend in person at City-County Building room 354, 210 Martin Luther King, Jr., Blvd

The meeting was called to order at 5:30 p.m. Also present: Sup. Boetcher, Sean Burke,  
Cecely Castillo, Lisa MacKinnon.  
There was one registration to speak on Item J. See registration report attached with  
minutes.

B. Election of Officers  
A motion was made by ENGELBERGER, seconded by GRAY, that County Board  
Chair Patrick Miles be elected as Chair of the Executive Committee. The motion  
carried by a voice vote.  
Election of Officers  
A motion was made by HUELSEMANN, seconded by GRAY, that the election of a  
vice chair for the Executive Committee be postponed to the next committee  
meeting when Chair Miles will be present. The motion carried by a voice vote.

The amendment was as follows: "Strike lines 64-69 of resolution." The amendment was  
made to remove reference to Dane Com,as that appointment is a joint County Executive  
and County Board Chair appointment.  
Sup. Engelberger had a question regarding the makeup of the CDBG and why all  
appointees live in the City of Madison when the funds go to communities outside of the  
City of Madison.  
A motion was made by KEMP, seconded by GRAY, that the resolution be  
amended as follows:  
"Strike lines 64-69 of resolution."  
The motion carried by a voice vote.  
A motion was made by POSTLER, seconded by HUELSEMANN, that the resolution  
be approved as amended. The motion carried by a voice vote.
