Regular Business Reports  
- Dane County Food Action Plan – WARNER, Guffey Calkins  
As a follow-up to the February public launch event, there was a May 1st follow-up held at  
Pasture and Plenty. The event was well-attended and productive. Community engagement  
focus group dates will be shared to DCFC over email.

- Wisconsin Food Systems, Inc – CORNELIUS

- Regional Agriculture & Food Sovereignty; Community Gardens – Nicholas Leete via  
Guffey Calkins  
Regional Ag & Food Sovereignty (RAFS) meetings are on first Wednesdays at 3PM.  
- Food Access; Double Dollars Program – Guffey Calkins  
Double Dollars will be available at participating Dane County farmers markets from June  
1 – Oct 31.  
- Public Health Madison & Dane County; City of Madison Business Development –

Information was shared about the county land agricultural lease process. More updates  
will be shared at the next meeting.  
- Food Access and Equity (PIE) – JANISCH, NENNIG  
PIE grant allocations were approved, and will be announced soon by Executive Agard’s  
office.  
- Community Engagement – WARNER  
Building off of the PIE follow-up discussion at the last DCFC meeting, work is in progress  
to connect with PIE applicants who asked for additional project support and connections.

Council Discussion  
- YGP Project – YGP Representative Gupta shared final details about the YGP project  
event - the Sustainability Safari is next week at the Vilas Zoo: Wed 5/28,  
9:30am-1:30pm. All are encouraged to come. DCFC thanked Gupta for serving on DCFC.

Supervisor Brower resigned from DCFC.
