The Monday December 1, 2025 AAA Board meeting will be a hybrid meeting.

Chair Farsetta called the meeting to order at 3:50 pm.

B. Consideration of Minutes  
AAA Board minutes from 11/3/25  
FARSETTA requested two corrections to the minutes. C.  
Presentations, a. Proposed Meet and Greet for the Dane County  
Legislative Delegation. Last sentence change from AAA Board to  
ADRC Governing Board. Second request was E. Reports to Board, 1.  
State and Federal Report. Third sentence change “BOLDIS” to  
“BOLD”.  
A motion was made by DOWNING, seconded by KUHN, that the minutes be  
approved as amended. The motion carried by a voice vote.

C. Action Items  
a. Disband the AAA Access Committee effective immediately  
A motion was made by KUHN, seconded by WURF, to approve disbanding the  
AAA Access Committee effective immediately. The motion carried  
unanimously.  
b. Establish the AAA Advisory Council  
A motion was made by KUHN, seconded by WEGLEITNER, to approve  
establishing the AAA Advisory Council. The motion carried unanimously.  
D. Reports to Board  
1. State and Federal Report (Langer)  
Laura Langer of the WI Bureau of Aging and Disability Resources (BADR)  
thanked the AAA staff for working on data entry for the fiscal year. Older  
Adult Act funding is generated from the data that is collected throughout the  
year. Laura met with Dane County AAA this morning and discussed  
Nutrition budget is good through January 26, 2026 yet. Will be watching  
the Federal funding as the government opens back up. Speakers Task  
Force is being formed. Not sure on the content of the group yet. Maureen  
McCarville is in this group and we could reach out to her for Advocacy  
ideas. Carrie Molkey has also been attending with WAAN. Adult  
Protective Services was the first group represented and advocated for.  
There are around 45 issues on the table that need advocacy for older  
adults.  
Two links Laura shared about meetings for older adults and how to register  
if people wish to speak on behalf of any agendas filed.

FARSETTA summarized the minutes from AAA Nutrition/Wellness  
Committee, Dane County HHN and Dane County Transportation  
Commission.

3. Board Member Status  
Currently have five openings on the AAA Board.  
4. Chair & Staff Reports  
i. Advisory Council Recruitment Strategies in reference to Aging Plan Goal:  
-AAA Team with AAA Board's guidance will meet internally to plan for recruitment  
strategies and formalize the application process.

of the Advisory Council.
