The April 24, 2025 Environment, Agriculture & Natural Resources Committee meeting will be a hybrid  
meeting. Members of the public can either attend in person or virtually via Zoom.  
The Land Conservation Committee will start at 5:15 pm. At 5:30 pm, a joint meeting of the Land  
Conservation Committee, Environment Agriculture & Natural Resources Committee, Lakes & Watersheds  
Commission and Park Commission will be held. Topics for the joint meeting are noted on the agenda.  
The public can attend in person at 5201 Fen Oak Drive, Driftless Room.  
The public can access the meeting virtually with the Zoom application or by telephone.

2. Gathering public input on Dane County Ch. 71 - Regulation of Icebound Inland Waters (joint item)  
Kyle Minks reported that the Land & Water Resources Department will take the lead on  
sharing information and collecting public input on Chapter 71: Regulation of Icebound  
Inland Waters, Dane County Code of Ordinances. A website will be developed and  
public comment collected beginning in June. A public information session, which will  
include an opportunity for public comment, will be scheduled for the summer. The  
Lakes & Watershed Commission and the Public Protection & Judiciary Committee may  
consider amendments to the ordinance in response to public comment and public safety  
officials.  
3. Annual Report on Park Commission Activities  
Tom Thoresen, Chair of the Dane County Park Commission, gave a verbal report on  
Park Commission activities and distributed a handout.
