A motion was made Paula Brandmeier and seconded by Xavior Yarn to approve  
the minutes of July 6th, 2026. Motion passed by voice vote.  
Kathy Kamp and Kim Alan abstained from voting.

E. Presentations  
CDA Overview & Goals – Chad Ruppel, Community Development Authority of Madison (CDA) gave an  
overview of CDA housing goals.  
Paula Brandmeier made a motion to suspend the rules to allow community  
members to ask a question of the presenter. Xavior Yarn seconded the motion.  
Passed with voice vote.  
Committee members and community participants asked questions of the presenter and items were  
discussed.  
F. Action Items  
2027 City & County Budget Recommendations  
No action taken. Topic will remain as a standing agenda item until the 2027 City  
and County budgets are released.  
G. Reports  
Staff Report  
Sarah Lim provided the current shelter utilization information for programs funded by the City and  
County.  
Johneisha Prescott provided updates from the County Housing Access and Affordability Division.  
Committee members asked questions of the presenters and items were discussed.
