The Wednesday May 13, 2026 AAA Board meeting will be a Hybrid meeting.

IN PERSON: Any members of the public wishing to register to speak on/support/oppose an agenda item  
can register in person at the meeting using paper registration forms. IT IS HIGHLY ENCOURAGED TO  
REGISTER VIA THE ZOOM LINK ABOVE EVEN IF YOU PLAN ON ATTENDING IN PERSON.  
In person registrations to provide public comment will be accepted throughout the meeting.

B. Consideration of Minutes  
AAA Board minutes from May 4, 2026  
A motion was made by Farsetta that the minutes be approved. The motion  
carried by a voice vote.  
C. Action Items  
1. Recommendation from the AAA Advisory Council selection group of 12 community  
members to be approved for Advisory Council membership.  
RECOMMENDED AAA ADVISORY COUNCIL MEMBERSHIP  
Motion by DOWNING to postpone approving the Advisory Council Membership list  
until June 1 meeting. DOWNING would like a full list of applicants and summary  
of each applicant similar to the recommended list presented to the AAA Board.  
The motion failed by the following vote:

Long discussion of Board Members with the process of the Advisory Council.  
A motion was made by Farsetta to approve the membership list provided to  
create the AAA Advisory Council. The motion carried by the following vote:

2. Recommendation from AAA Grants Scoring Committee for the Paul Kusuda, Leck and  
Mally funds.  
AAA GRANTS SCORING COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATIONS  
Attachments:  
Claire Purkis, AAA Aging Specialist , advised there were no changes from  
the recommendation presented at May 4 meeting.  
A motion was made by WURF to approve the recommendations from the AAA  
Grant Scoring Committee of Grant Award Recipients. The motion carried by a  
voice vote.  
D. Future Meeting Items and Dates  
Next Meeting: Monday June 1, 2026, 3:45pm via Hybrid  
E. Public Comment on Items not on the Agenda  
None.  
F. Such Other Business as Allowed by Law  
Angela Velasquez, DAS Administrator, shared that Friday June 12, APS was  
hosting ShredFest at Warner Park. New this year is small electronic  
disposal.  
G. Adjournment  
A motion was made by KUHN that the meeting be adjourned at 3:51pm. The  
motion carried unanimously.
