MINUTES FOR THE BOARD OF HEALTH FOR MADISON AND DANE  
COUNTY ON OCTOBER 9, 2025.  
A motion was made by MUSSER, seconded by HALVERSON, that the Minutes be  
approved. The motion carried by a voice vote, 6-0.  
PUBLIC COMMENT  
PUBLIC COMMENT BEFORE THE BOARD OF HEALTH FOR MADISON AND  
DANE COUNTY ON NOVEMBER 5, 2025.

BOARD OF HEALTH RESOLUTIONS  
AUTHORIZATION OF LINE-ITEM BUDGET TRANSFERS  
A motion was made by JACKSON, seconded by JENKINS, that the BOHMDC  
Resolution be granted final approval. The motion carried by a voice vote, 6-0.  
AUTHORIZATION TO ACCEPT FUNDS FROM THE STATE OF WISCONSIN  
DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH SERVICES (DHS) FOR EMPLOYING  
NAVIGATORS TO INCREASE LINKAGES TO CARE FOR PEOPLE WHO USE  
DRUGS (OD2A-S)  
A motion was made by PRITCHETT, seconded by MUSSER, that the BOHMDC  
Resolution be granted final approval. The motion carried by a voice vote, 6-0.  
CITY OF MADISON ORDINANCE AMENDMENTS  
CREATING SECTION 23.202 OF THE MADISON GENERAL ORDINANCES  
RELATED TO AGE RESTRICTIONS ON HEMP-DERIVED THC PRODUCTS  
A motion was made by JACKSON, seconded by JENKINS, that the City Ordinance  
Amendment be recommended for approval. The motion carried by a voice vote,  
6-0.  
CREATING SECTION 23.65 OF THE MADISON GENERAL ORDINANCES TO  
REGULATE THE SALE OF PETS IN RETAIL PET STORES

Amendment be recommended for approval. The motion carried by a voice vote,

DANE COUNTY ORDINANCE AMENDMENTS

ORDINANCES, REGARDING THE PROHIBITION ON THE SALE OF

BOARD OF HEALTH GOVERNANCE AND MODERNIZATION  
SUBCOMMITTEE  
A motion was made by JENKINS, seconded by HALVERSON, to discuss and  
continue with the Board of Health Governance and Modernization committee. A  
motion was accepted to extend the sunset date to 31Dec2026. The motion passed  
by voice vote/other, 6-0.  
REPORTS TO COMMITTEE  
JENKINS left the meeting at 5:46pm.
