Seale provided a summary of the By Youth for Youth program for the last year  
including the funding awards from April 2026.

Shaw provided an overview of UW Extension and its role in Dane County.

F. Reports to Committee  
Youth Governance Program (YGP) Report - Ria Sengelmann  
Sengelmann reported that YGP analyzed the youth assessment data for areas of  
concern and identified substance misuse as a new focus for the coming year. They  
will create a youth designed support card with resources to assist youth in asking  
for help.  
The Sustainability Safari is coming up on Friday May 29th at the Dane County Zoo  
from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM. YGP youth will be providing information on sustainable  
practices during the event.  
This is Sengelmann’s last meeting as the YGP liaison.
