1. HSC Education and Advocacy Committee Updates  
Chara Taylor and Mary Carrasco-Shoer  
Chara Taylor shared an update from Homeless Services Consortium Education and  
Advocacy Committee and their advocacy platform for the committee. A question was  
asked about Rethke and Tree Lane about how individuals were being supported. City  
staff provided an update.  
2. Family shelter and overflow funding overview  
Melissa Mennig presented an overview of the family shelter system as well as the  
current funding for family shelters. Committee members asked questions.  
Chair Linda Ketcham offered to draft a thank you letter to the shelter and outreach on  
behalf of the committee.
