The January 8, 2026 Environment, Agriculture & Natural Resources Committee meeting will be a hybrid  
meeting. Members of the public can either attend in person or virtually via Zoom.

WI 53718.  
The public can access the meeting virtually with the Zoom application or by telephone.

A motion was made by MARREN that the Minutes be approved. The motion  
carried by a voice vote 4-0.  
C. Fund Transfers  
2026 CO-FUNDING AGREEMENT FOR EXTENSION DIRECTOR  
Derek Wallace spoke neither in support nor opposition of the fund transfer and  
questioned how disciplinary action would be handled for the three Extension  
staff, with focus on the two clerical staff, that are Dane County employees when  
the Director is a University of Wisconsin employee.  
A motion was made by BARUSHOK that the Fund Transfer be recommended for  
approval. The motion carried by a voice vote 4-0.  
D. Referrals (Resolutions & Ordinance Amendments)  
APPROVAL OF 2026 CROP LEASES ON COUNTY LAND  
CHAWLA and ENGELBERGER

approval. The motion carried by a voice vote 4-0.  
AUTHORIZING AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH THE

ACCEPTANCE OF FUNDS FROM CLEAN FUEL DANE LLC

Derek Wallace spoke neither in support nor opposition to the resolution and  
questioned if the funding would be used to hire new LTEs at a time when  
employee group 720 is advocating for permanent, full-time positions.  
A motion was made by BARUSHOK that the Resolution Requiring 2/3rds Vote be  
recommended for approval. The motion carried by a voice vote 4-0.  
ACCEPTANCE OF A STATE OF WI DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL  
RESOURCES LAKE MONITORING & PROTECTION GRANT
