The December 21, 2023 Executive Committee meeting will be a hybrid meeting. Members of the public  
can either attend in person or virtually via Zoom.  
The public can attend in person at City-County Building, room 354, 210 Martin Luther King, Jr., Blvd.

RESEARCH  
Keen Independent Research presented their final summary of findings and  
recommendations for committee member comment and question before they finalize the  
report and recommendations for delivery to the County Board Office by January 15th.  
Staff asked committee members to submit any additional comments for Keen's  
consideration as soon as possible in order to meet the draft edit deadline of January 5th.

STRUCTURE OF COUNTY BOARD OFFICE  
Chair Miles indicated he will be introducing a budget amendment for Exec Comm and  
County Board action on January 18th to increase capacity of the County Board Office  
through a structural reorganization to reactivate and fund the unfilled Legislative Services  
Director position to oversee and manage the office's legislative support services. This  
role will rebalance the duties and increase staff capacity to support the County Board.

H. Future Meeting Items and Dates  
The next meeting of the Executive Committee is scheduled for January 18th. Due to a full  
agenda (OEI quarterly report, equity plan update report, community engagement staff  
report, possible intern reports, etc.) the meeting will start at 5:00 p.m. in CCB room 354.  
This is the only meeting scheduled for the committee in January.
