The January 15, 2026, Executive Committee meeting will be a hybrid meeting. Members of the public can

either attend in person or virtually via Zoom.

The public can attend in person at City-County Building room 354, 210 Martin Luther King, Jr., Blvd,

Madison.

The meeting was called to order at 5:40 p.m. There were no registrations to

speak or register a position on any agenda items. Also present: Sup. Furman,

Legislative Agenda Update Process--County Lobbyist

County Lobbyist Lacy Fox presented on the anticipated process for the

2026-2028 Dane County legislative agenda update (see attached presentation).

Fox indicated that standing committee chairs and committee staff should

schedule on their upcoming February agendas discussion of the legislative

agenda topics and any amendments they intend to propose.Fox will send all

standing committees the relevant legislative agenda documents for their

meeting discussions.

Wesley Sparkman, Director of the Civil Rights Department, provided the

committee with updates on the department and took questions from committee
