The June 3rd Insurance Advisory RFP Subcommittee meeting will be a hybrid meeting. Members of the  
public can either attend in person or virtually via Zoom.  
The public can attend in person at M3, 828 John Nolen Dr., Madison WI 53713.  
The public can access the meeting virtually with the Zoom application or by telephone.

PROCESS TO PROVIDE PUBLIC COMMENT:  
IN PERSON: Any members of the public wishing to register to speak on/support/oppose an agenda item  
can register in person at the meeting using paper registration forms. IT IS HIGHLY ENCOURAGED TO  
REGISTER VIA THE ZOOM LINK ABOVE EVEN IF YOU PLAN ON ATTENDING IN PERSON.  
In person registrations to provide public comment will be accepted throughout the meeting.  
VIRTUAL: Any members of the public wishing to register to speak on/support/oppose an agenda item

The meeting was called into order at 8:30am.

B. Consideration of Minutes  
Minutes for the May 6, 2026 Insurance Advisory RFP Committee  
A motion was made by TUESCHER, seconded by MAIER, that the Minutes be  
approved the minutes. The motion carried by a voice vote.  
C. Action Items  
D. Presentations  
The mandatory and preferred requirements for the RFP process were  
discussed.  
The subcommittee viewed the Ethics Training video.  
E. Discussion Items  
1. Self-funding was discussed.  
2. Retiree benefits were reviewed.  
3. 2028 RFP Timing was discussed.  
4. Expanding the purview of the subcommittee was discussed.  
A motion was made by TUESCHER that the subcommittee recommend to the  
Insurance Advisory Committee that the subcommittee expand their review to  
include the RFP for the disability insurance. Motion was seconded by  
DRUMMOND. The motion carried by a voice vote.

None.  
G. Future Meeting Items and Dates  
The next meeting is July 1, 2026. It will take place at M3 and via Zoom.  
H. Public Comment on Items not on the Agenda  
None.

A motion was made by MAIER, seconded by TUESCHER, that the meeting be  
adjourned. The motion carried by a voice vote.
