The Monday January 8, 2024 AAA Access Committee meeting will be a hybrid meeting. Members of the  
public can either attend in person or virtually via Zoom.  
The public can attend in person at the ADRC building, 2865 N Sherman Ave Room 108, Madison.  
The public can access the meeting virtually with the Zoom application or by telephone.

AAA Access Minutes from July 10, 2023  
A motion was made by WERNER, seconded by BOUSTEAD, that the minutes be  
approved. The motion carried by a voice vote.

1. Adult Protective Services & Guardianship Updates-Beth Freeman, APS Manager  
APS Presentation  
Dane County Adult Protective Services Manager Beth Freeman gave an overview of APS  
services and future plans for growth in the department.  
2. Volunteer Guardianship & Rep Payee Update-Katie Brietzman, NewBridge  
NewBridge Volunteer Guardianship/Rep Payee Coordinator Katie Breitzman presented on  
what the program is about and how many volunteers she works with for a number of  
clients.  
E. Reports to Committee  
AAA Aging Program Specialist Claire Purkis shared topics for next meeting. Asked  
members for ideas on presenters for this year’s meetings.  
F. Future Meeting Items and Dates  
Next meeting: Monday March 4, 2024 at 2:30 pm via hybrid.  
2024 Meeting Dates: March 4, May 6, July 1, September 9, November 11
