CDBG COMMISSION RE-APPOINTMENTS FOR DANE COUNTY CDBG
COMMISSION
Chair Brown indicated that terms are ending on April 19, 2025, for seven members of the
CDBG Commission. If members would like to be reappointed for another 2-year term, let
Cindy Grady know by the end of February. Those interested in continuing service on the
Commission will be reappointed by the County Executive.
2. Monitoring Updates
Joanna Cervantes gave an update on the monitoring of grant recipients. Annually, staff
are required to perform a risk analysis, which scores each agency on programmatic,
financial and operational categories. Staff determine which agencies need to be
monitored with an on-site visit. Program Specialists have performed the necessary site
visits, with the exception of 3 agencies that had to be rescheduled.
