WWBIC presented first, and gave an overview of the organization’s trainings, services
and success stories. They also discussed how the CDBG grant has supported new and
existing businesses, and micro-businesses.
CDBG/HOME 2025-2029 CONSOLIDATED PLAN - PRELIMINARY CITIZEN
PARTICIPATION & SURVEY RESULTS
Cindy Grady presented on the preliminary results from the community surveys and
engagement meetings; and noted that the visuals are in draft format. The data and
information will be used, along with other components, in the 2025-2029 Consolidated
Plan and will help to guide the funding priorities for the next five years. A public hearing
on the draft Consolidated Plan is tentatively scheduled for March 2025.
D. Action Items
APPOINTMENT TO APPLICATION REVIEW TEAM
Chair Brown asked for volunteers for the Application Review Team, which will review and
score applications for the 2026 CDBG/HOME funding. The subcommittee must have a
minimum of 2, but no more than 5, members.
Taylor Brown, Supervisor Glazer, Kathy Kamp and Martin Lackey volunteered to be on
the Application Review Team. Jeremiah DeGollon volunteered as an alternate, should any
members have a conflict of interest with applicants.
Motion was made by Chair Brown and seconded by Kamp to approve the
appointments to the Application Review Team. Motion passed unanimously by
voice vote.

CDBG COMMISSION RE-APPOINTMENTS FOR DANE COUNTY CDBG
COMMISSION
Chair Brown indicated that terms are ending on April 19, 2025, for seven members of the
CDBG Commission. If members would like to be reappointed for another 2-year term, let
Cindy Grady know by the end of February. Those interested in continuing service on the
Commission will be reappointed by the County Executive.
