Safety & Working Conditions Study Committee Minutes 12-2-25
C. Presentations
1. Land & Water Resources Department Safety Committee
Adam Alves presented on the formation of the Land & Water Resources
Safety Committee. He stated that COVID had negative effects on safety
culture. The committee started after returning from COVID, focused on
streamlining training, especially with high-risk positions, volunteer training
and how to measure effectiveness.
David Rowe spoke on data tracking, property damage to vehicles, cell
phones and the incident reporting system (fear of discipline).
