The October 8th, 2024 Public Works, Highway and Transportation meeting will be a hybrid meeting.  
Members of the public can either attend in person or virtually via Zoom.  
The public can attend in person at the East District Campus Highway Garage, 3103 Luds Lane, Cottage  
Grove, WI (main entrance on the north side of the building).  
The public can access the meeting virtually with the Zoom application or by telephone.

IN PERSON: Any members of the public wishing to register to speak on/support/oppose an agenda item  
can register in person at the meeting using paper registration forms. IT IS HIGHLY ENCOURAGED TO  
REGISTER VIA THE ZOOM LINK ABOVE EVEN IF YOU PLAN ON ATTENDING IN PERSON.  
In person registrations to provide public comment will be accepted throughout the meeting.

A motion was made by UDELL, seconded by BLAZEWICZ, that the Minutes be  
approved. The motion carried by a voice vote 5-0 (YGP: 2-0)  
C. Budget Discussions and Amendments  
PUBLIC WORKS & TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE AMENDMENTS TO  
THE PROPOSED 2025 OPERATING BUDGET  
PWT-O-01: Motion by Blazewicz, seconded by Udell that the amendment be  
recommended for denial. The motion carried unanimously by a voice vote 5-0  
(YGP:2-0). Amanda DePagter spoke on this amendment.  
PWT-O-02: Motion by Udell, seconded by Blazewicz that the amendment be  
recommended for denial. The motion carried unanimously by a voice vote 5-0  
(YGP:2-0). Ronda Schwetz and Dave Ripp spoke on this amendment.  
PWT-O-03: Motion by Blazewicz, seconded by Udell that the amendment be  
recommended for approval. The motion carried unanimously by a voice vote 5-0  
(YGP:2-0). Chair Engelberger, Kevin Scheibler, and Carolyn Clow spoke on this  
amendment. Dave Ripp registered to speak in favor of this amendment.  
PWT-O-04: Motion by Blazewicz, seconded by Udell that the amendment be  
recommended for denial. The motion carried unanimously by a voice vote 5-0  
(YGP:2-0). Amanda DePagter spoke on this amendment.

the City County Building.

Erik Anderson (AFSCME) registered to speak regarding the departmental budget items  
for Alliant Energy Center, Henry Vilas Zoo, Dane County Airport and Highway &  
Transportation as they relate to labor positions within Employee Group 65.
