A motion was made by ENGELBERGER, seconded by GREB, that the minutes from  
the September 3, 2025 Lakes and Watershed Commission meeting be approved.  
The motion carried by a voice vote 8-0.

1. Presentation on The Influence of Boat-Generated Waves on Lake Shorelines and Aquatic Habitats -  
Joint presentation with EANR and LCC.  
David Rowe and Kyle Minks, both with the Dane County Land & Water  
Resources Department, gave the presentation.

1. Lake Levels Report - Joint report with EANR and LCC  
John Reimer, Dane County Land & Water Resources Department, gave the  
report.  
LAKE LEVELS REPORT  
2. Update on proposed amendments to Chapter 71: Regulation of Icebound Inland Waters - Joint report  
with EANR and LCC  
Kyle Minks, with the Dane County Land & Water Resources Department,  
reported that Land & Water staff are working with deputies from the Dane  
County Sheriff's Department and the Office of Corporation Counsel on draft text  
to update the ordinance and hope to present the draft for committee review in  
early 2026.  
H. Future Meeting Items and Dates  
A motion was made by ENGELBERGER, seconded by GREB, that the commission  
continue discussing wake enhanced boating at their next meeting. Motion  
carried by a voice vote 8-0,  
1. 2026 Commission Meeting Schedule  
Commission members agreed to generally meet the first Wednesday of the  
month starting at 5:30 pm.  
2026 Lakes and Watershed Commission Meeting Dates  
2. Next Commission meeting tentatively scheduled for January 7th starting at 5:30 pm.

A motion was made by ENGELBERGER, seconded by GREB, that the meeting be  
adjourned. The motion carried unanimously.
