The May 14, 2026, Executive Committee meeting will be a hybrid meeting. Members of the public can

The public can attend in person at City-County Building room 354, 210 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd,  
Madison.

The meeting was called to order at 5:31 p.m. Also present: Ned Eggert, Sup.

MacKinnon. There were no registrants taking positions or wishing to speak on  
any agenda items.

County Clerk McDonnell spoke in support of the resolution. Sup. Chawla  
suggested an amendment to address concerns regarding the ability of indigent  
residents to pay the fees.  
A motion was made by CHAWLA that the ordinance be amended as follows:  
on line 19 add a final sentence: "Indigent people may apply for a fee waiver from  
the statutory fee."  
The motion carried by a voice vote.  
A motion was made by CHAWLA that the ordinance be recommended for

UW-MADISON UCA POLICY PROJECT--STUDENT INTERN PRESENTATION--FALL 2026  
SEMESTER  
UW-Madison UCA student policy intern, Ned Eggert, presented to the  
committee on his reserach and report on Youth Mental Health Supports in Dane  
County. Committee members asked a number of questions after the  
presentation. The report and presentation are both attached to the meeting  
agenda and minutes in the 2026 PRES-008 file. For detailed questions by the  
committee members and response by the intern, please see the meeting
