The January 14, 2025 Labor Relations Committee meeting will be a hybrid meeting. Members of the public

can either attend in person or virtually via Zoom.

The public can attend in person at the City-County Building, Room 357, 210 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd.

The public can access the meeting virtually with the Zoom application or by telephone.

A motion was made by RAMIREZ, seconded by HUBBARD-MOYER that the

minutes be approved. The motion carried by voice vote 11-0.

C. Action Items

Review of responses to questions related to recruitment presentation from November 12, 2024

meeting.

Discussion regarding responses and how to move forward on bettering the

interview process.

Request ideas for accelerating timelines to achieve goals faster & more efficiently.

The creation of subcommittees was discussed.

E. Reports to Committee

Update by Linda Ramirez regarding Advertising & Job Fair Budget.

Ramirez shared responses from the HR Manager & HR Director plus advertising

and job fair budgets.

Update by Nick Bubb regarding info dissemination outreach.

Discussion on how to improve info dissemination outreach. Discussed that the

department become more proactive.

Updates by other committee members.

F. Future Meeting Items and Dates

Discuss rescheduling Labor Relations Committee meeting dates for October and November.

This will be discussed at a future meeting.
