A. Call To Order
The Board was called to order at 9:03 am. All members were present.
B. Conduct the Canvass of the April 7, 2026 Spring Election
1. Conduct the Canvass of the Votes Cast for the Following Offices:
The Board continued to canvass the election results focusing on the City of
Madison.
Upon reviewing the changes made by the Madison Municipal Board of Canvass
members had questions for Clerk McComas including why open absentee ballot
envelopes were counted at the Canvass and why two absentee envelopes with
no witness addresses were counted.
Motion by WILLETT, second by PAULSON, to not accept the Madison Municipal
Board of Canvass changes that included unsealed ballot envelopes. Vote was
unanimous.
Motion by WILLETT, second by PAULSON, to not accept the two absentee ballot
envelopes and ballots that did not have any witness addresses that were counted
by the Madison Municipal Board of Canvassers. Vote was unanimous.
