The September 18, 2025, Executive Committee meeting will be a hybrid meeting. Members of the public  
can either attend in person or virtually via Zoom.  
The public can attend in person in room 354 at City-County Building, 210 MLK,Jr. Drive, Madison 53703  
The public can access the meeting virtually with the Zoom application or by telephone.

In person registrations to provide public comment will be accepted throughout the meeting.

The meeting was called to order at 5:34 p.m. Also present: Supervisors Fries,  
Barushok, and Furman; Carrie Springer, Scott McDonell, Lisa MacKinnon.

A motion was made by PETERS that the minutes be approved. The motion  
carried by a voice vote.

AMENDING CHAPTER 6 OF THE DANE COUNTY CODE OF ORDINANCES,  
REGARDING FILLING SUPERVISORY VACANCIES

Supervisor Fries, the OA sponsor, spoke in support of the Sub 1 to 2025  
OA-008, which made changes to address concerns with the previous version of  
the OA. Discussion ensued and Sup. Fries answered committee member  
questions and indicated that the concerns had been addressed.  
A motion was made by ENGELBERGER that Sub 1 to the ordinance amendment  
be recommended for approval to the Board. The motion carried by a voice vote.  
CALLING ON WISCONSIN TO ALLOW OUT-OF-STATE REAL IDS TO BE  
ACCEPTABLE FOR VOTER IDENTIFICATION

The chair noted that the first of two budget meetings being held by the Executive  
Committee will be held on October 16, 2025, and will start at 4:30 p.m. to  
accommodate other committee budget meetings. The second budget meeting  
of the committee will be held on October 23, 2025, and start at 5:30 p.m. Both  
meetings will be held in CCB room 354.
