1. Discuss updating language in slideshow  
Discussion on definition of protected classes on EOC.gov website and Federal EOC.  
Discussion to date stamp Powerpoint on footer.  
Staff to complete resolution to amend language.

A motion was made by FISHER to amend Powerpoint to include language  
under sex -including pregnancy and related conditions, sexual orientation,  
gender identity, disability and genetic information including family history,  
seconded by WEATHERBY-FLOWERS. Motion approved by unanimous  
consent.  
2. Discuss/update 2024 meeting dates  
Discussion on future meeting dates. Dates scheduled for the next two months, due to  
upcoming changes within County government. There will be additional updates in the  
future. Next meeting dates:  
February 13, 2024, 5:30pm-7pm  
March 12, 2024, 5:30pm-7pm

Chair PELLEBON gave updates regarding being responsive to OEI's staff e-mails  
regarding EOC meetings, the latest PIE-Grant being posted, and codifying ordinances.

Carrie Braxton from the Tamara D. Grigsby Office for Equity & Inclusion gave updates on  
reports and responded to committee members' questions.
