FoodWIse Program Update – Jackie Gehin, FoodWIse Administrator, provided an  
overview of the Dane County FoodWIse program including SNAP education and the  
Expanded Food and Nutrition Education program. She also introduced Emily Randerson,  
Nutrition Educator, who joined the program on Jan 3.

Director’s report – Carrie Edgar provided a staffing update. She introduced Carla  
Williams, the new Communication Specialist who started on Feb 1. Alison Pfau has  
accepted the Regional Dairy Educator is scheduled to start on June 5th. The VITA site is  
open and is running smoothly. There is a lot of programming currently happening across  
all the program areas.  
F. Announcements  
•
Broadband Task Force update and public hearings – Supervisor Ratcliff provided an  
update on the Task Force and information on the public hearings scheduled for Feb 28  
at 6 pm and March 4 at 9 am. They also encouraged all to share and complete the  
survey. More information on the Task Force can be found at:
