The May 8, 2026 Aging and Disability Governing Board meeting will be a hybrid meeting. Members of the  
public can either attend in person or virtually via Zoom.  
The public can attend in person at the ADRC, 2865 N Sherman Avenue, Madison.  
The public can access the meeting virtually with the Zoom application or by telephone.

IN PERSON: Any members of the public wishing to register to speak on/support/oppose an agenda item  
can register in person at the meeting using paper registration forms. IT IS HIGHLY ENCOURAGED TO  
REGISTER VIA THE ZOOM LINK ABOVE EVEN IF YOU PLAN ON ATTENDING IN PERSON.  
In person registrations to provide public comment will be accepted throughout the meeting.  
VIRTUAL: Any members of the public wishing to register to speak on/support/oppose an agenda item

A motion was made by GOLDEN, seconded by DAVENPORT, that the Minutes be  
approved. The motion carried by the following vote: 7-0

Ethics Training presented to the ADRC Board.  
A motion was made by Golden seconded by Bocher to send Ethics Training video  
to all ADRC board members.  
The motion passed by voice vote 8-0.  
D. Action Items  
None.  
E. Chair's Report  
1. Legislative Event on June 17th.  
Olson said the legislative event is from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. June 17 at the  
Job Center Ball Room.  
There will be a separate speaker to present on each one of the four topics:  
1. ADRC invest in Aging and Disability Resource Centers  
2. Home delivered meals  
3. Reducing falls among older adults  
4. Increased funding in specialized transportation  
Further discussion among board members.

G. Manager's Report  
1. ADRC Update  
Huisheere reported Fischer is doing well in her recovery.  
The ADRC has four positions that remain frozen due to Dane County's hiring  
freeze.  
H. Future Meeting Items and Dates  
Next Meeting: July 13, 2026 at 3:30 pm.  
Suggested to have a presentation from Madison Metro and Paratransit.
