The February 6th Reclassification Appeals Board meeting will be an in-person meeting. Members of the  
public can attend in person.  
The public can attend in person at City County Building, 210 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd Room 321,  
Madison WI 53703.  
PROCESS TO PROVIDE PUBLIC COMMENT:  
Any members of the public wishing to register to speak on/support/oppose an agenda item can register  
via email by February 6th, 10am.

A. Call To Order  
The meeting was called to order at 1pm.  
3 - KATE HATTERY-GROSKOPF, WILLIAM WICK, and SARAH OLSON

B. Consideration of Minutes  
Minutes from the September 21, 2023 Reclassification Appeals Board  
Hearing for LPNs.  
A motion was made by WICK, seconded by OLSON, that the Minutes be  
approved. HATTERY-GROSKOPF abstained.  
C. Action Items  
Appeal of denial on bilingual designation of Erika Medina.  
In a 3-0 vote, the members recommended their support to uphold the decision  
based upon the presentation of the parties. The County Executive's office denied  
the recommendation and requested that the department re-submit the position  
description for Erika Medina depicting all areas her bilingual skills are being  
used so she may obtain her bilingual pay.  
A motion was made by HATTERY-GROSKOPF, seconded by OLSON, that the  
meeting enter into closed session.  
The committee may go into a closed session for purposes of deliberations concerning a case(s) which  
is/are he subject of any judicial or quasi-judicial trial or hearing before the governmental body. The  
authority for a closed session for such purposes is 19.85(1)(a), Stats. During the closed session, the  
committee may also conduct discussions relative to considering employment, promotion, compensation  
performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction  
or exercises responsibility. The authroity for a closed session for such purposes is 19.85(1)(c), Stats.  
A motion was made by WICK, seconded by HATTERY-GROSKOPF, that the  
meeting exit out of closed session.

E. Such Other Business as Allowed by Law  
None.  
F. Adjourn  
A motion was made by WICK, seconded by HATTERY-GROSKOPF, that the  
meeting be adjourned.
