A motion was made by SMITH, seconded by CHAWLA, that the Minutes be  
approved. The motion carried by a voice vote. Downing abstained. MC 4-0

OVERVIEW OF CHAPTER 49, DCCO

Piaget presented an overview of the requirements in Chapter 49: Agricultural Performance  
Standards and Manure Management, Dane County Code of Ordinances.  
Downing requested hyperlinks in the ordinance text be updated as some of the links are  
broken.

COST-SHARE CONTRACTS APPROVED  
Piaget presented the cost-share contracts that have been approved since the July  
meeting.  
COST-SHARE PAYMENTS APPROVED  
Piaget presented the cost-share payments that were approved since the July meeting.  
DISCONTINUATION OF ROAD  
Piaget reported on the upcoming public hearing on the Town of Springfield to discontinue  
George Rd.  
Downing noted that towns historically managed farm roads to the milkhouse for milk  
pick-up but that practice is no longer occurring.

Smith noted she will not be able to attend on September 26th.

A motion was made by SMITH, seconded by MARREN, that the LCC meeting be  
adjourned. The motion carried unanimously. MC 5-0
