1. Discussion of imminent closure and demolition of Madison’s urban campground  
at Dairy Drive and potential action to communicate, on behalf of the committee and  
to Madison Common Council and Mayor: (1) opposition to ending Madison Street  
Medicine’s (MSM) program to serve people experiencing unsheltered people and;  
(2) support for extending the City’s contract with MSM to continue the program at  
least through April 30, 2026.  
Motion by Wegleitner to change “unsheltered people” to “homelessness” in  
line 4 of item J1. The motion passed without objection.

Motion by Rylander in support of discussion of item J1, and to inform the  
Madison Common Council and Mayor of HHN’s opposition to ending Madison  
Street Medicine’s (MSM) program to serve people experiencing  
homelessness and support for extending the City’s contract with MSM  
through at least April 30, 2026. The motion carried unanimously.
