A motion was made by GOFORTH, seconded by BOGUE, that the Minutes be  
approved. The motion carried by a voice vote 5-0, YGP 1-0.

1. Conservation Fund Grant Applications from Groundswell Conservancy for two  
projects:  
a. Felio Conservation Easement in the Town of Dunkirk - Badfish Creek NRA  
b. Village Edge Conservation Easement in the Town of Black Earth - Black Earth  
Creek NRA  
Sharene Smith presented an overview of two Dane County Conservation Fund Grant  
applications received from Groundswell Conservancy to purchase conservation  
easements.  
It was agreed by unanimous consent to direct staff to prepare two resolutions  
to award Dane County Conservation Fund Grants: The first to Groundswell  
Conservancy and the Town of Dunkirk for up to 25% of costs (approximately  
$125,000) for the Felio easement. The second to Groundswell Conservancy for  
up to 50% of costs (approximately $338,000) for the Village Edge easement.
