All present introduced themselves. Director Edgar shared that this would be the last  
meeting for the current YGP members and thanked them for their participation.

A motion was made by SMITH, seconded by KRONING, that the Resolution  
Requiring 2/3rds Vote be recommended for approval. The motion carried by a  
voice vote. Motion carried 5-0.

F. Reports  
Director Report – Carrie Edgar  
Director Edgar provided a staffing update. The new Community Youth Development  
Educator who will be working on the Career Pathways program will start on Monday, May  
20th. There are currently two vacancies in the FoodWIse program that will be posted  
soon. One is for a Hmong Bilingual Nutrition Educator position and the other will be an  
internal search for a Curriculum Coordinator. Edgar shared that the VITA site had another  
successful year with more than 2,850 returns filed resulting in more than $2.4 million in  
federal returns to local taxpayers. A copy of the April Program Summary including an  
impact report on the BYFY program was distributed to all members. Edgar shared that  
members will receive a monthly summary report, have been added to Happenings, the  
e-Newsletter, as well as the Ag and the Horticulture newsletters.
