Pre-Trial Subcommittee.
C. Presentations
1. Department of Pretrial Services-Review of Technical Assistance
Staff from the Harvard Kennedy School Government Performance Lab
presentation on its research and technical assistance offered to Dane County
Pretrial Services to ensure best practices for its supervision processes.
Overall goal is to assess how pretrial stakeholders can make data-informed
adjustments to right size the supervision case load while maintaining safety
and court appearance rates. Dane County appearance, safety, and success
rates have consistently been high. Presenter and members discussed
data-driven decisions to consider in the future.
