The Wednesday May 7, 2025 AAA Nutrition/Wellness Committee meeting will be a hybrid meeting.  
Members of the public can either attend in person or virtually via Zoom.  
The public can attend in person at the ADRC building, 2865 N Sherman Ave Room 109, Madison.  
The public can access the meeting virtually with the Zoom application or by telephone.

PROCESS TO PROVIDE PUBLIC COMMENT:  
IN PERSON: Any members of the public wishing to register to speak on/support/oppose an agenda item  
can register in person at the meeting using paper registration forms. IT IS HIGHLY ENCOURAGED TO  
REGISTER VIA THE ZOOM LINK ABOVE EVEN IF YOU PLAN ON ATTENDING IN PERSON.  
In person registrations to provide public comment will be accepted throughout the meeting.  
VIRTUAL: Any members of the public wishing to register to speak on/support/oppose an agenda item

B. Consideration of Minutes

A motion was made by WERNER, seconded by SCHUSTER, that the minutes be  
approved. The motion carried by a voice vote.  
C. Presentations  
1. Dining Site Reviews-Completed February to Present (Genson, Schuster)  
NWDane, Middleton, Messiah  
GENSON and SCHUSTER summarized their site visits.  
2. Dining Site Review Needs from Committee Members-Two Visits/Calendar year

GABRIEL discussed the State’s budget request to increase funding for Home Delivered  
Meals and the public can provide their input.

GABRIEL reviewed materials for the Farmers’ Market Voucher program starting June 1.

GABRIEL shared that staff will be working on the 2026 Budget process in a couple of  
weeks. GABRIEL shared that Lynn Riley has been selected as the new AAA Manager.

GABRIEL shared that due to reduction in federal funding, food pantries will be having a  
reduction in protein products.
