The purpose of the public hearing is to consider the issuance by the County of its  
General Obligation Airport Project Bonds in a principal amount not to exceed  
$75,000,000 (the “Bonds”), pursuant to Section 142(a)(1) of the Code. The proceeds  
of the Bonds will be used to pay the cost of a terminal modernization project at Dane  
County Regional Airport located at 4000 International Lane, Madison, Wisconsin  
53704 (the “Airport”). The Airport is owned and operated by the County.
