The October 13, 2022 Executive Committee meeting will be a hybrid meeting. Members of the public can  
attend either in person or virtually via Zoom. **This is a BUDGET meeting**.

J. Public Comment on Items not on the Agenda  
Madison nurses Amanda Klinge and Justin Geibel spoke in support of trauma recovery  
efforts for health care workers.Discussed the continuing impact, including chronic  
burnout, of the Covid-19 pandemic on healthcare workers, especially those in trauma unit  
taking care of Covid patients.

K. Such Other Business as Allowed by Law  
Staff briefly discussed the opportunities coming up to work with UW Madison students on  
policy topics. Current student research includes redistricting process (to create a history  
for next time) and Kassel Sister County Workforce Economic Development research.  
Committee members were asked to come with ideas for UW student intern research  
projects for next semester at the next meeting of the Executive Committee.
