C. Action Items  
1. PIE Grant application  
Discussion to create letter to Departments requesting them to discuss Equity  
Plan with Advisory group and notifying people/groups about 2022 PIE Grant  
application. Discussion of previous 2021 group funded, which is now  
expanding and doing good work. Discuss goal to get grant information out so  
small groups apply also.  
2022 application Review group established and process explained for  
everyone.  
2. Equity Plan review process  
Discussion about inviting departments to Advisory meeting to discuss their  
approach, outcome, and programs related to DEI. First department will be  
Human Services.  
Discussion of Equity & Diversity Tool and program policy, procedures, and  
where money is spent as part of discussion with Departments.  
3. Membership  
Discussion of membership to OEI Advisory Board and members who can be  
recommended. The Chair met with Director of Dane County OEI and  
discussed the Advisory Board structure and outreach to person about  
participation on the Advisory Board.

Discussion of inviting keynote speakers, suggestion of UW Assistant Professor-  
Housing and community development, Revel Sims, or someone who works in  
Dane County.
