C. Action Items  
1. PIE Grant  
Discussion of PIE Grant requests and decision made on grants. Discussion on  
modifying application for next year.  
A motion was made by HEINRICH, seconded by REVEREND BARING, that  
recommendation given by evaluation subcommittee is accepted. Staff to  
inform recipients and also give OEI Advisory Committee a summary update of  
last year's recipients.  
2. Equity Plan review process  
Discussion on what OEI Advisory Committee expectations are on plans and  
when planning to bring Dept of Health and Human Services to a meeting for  
December or January. Discussion on when plans are received who are  
recommendations made to.  
3. Membership

Chair Jones briefly discussed an issue about a budget proposal regarding hiring  
Case Manager positions in which the Social Worker union opposes the idea of  
hiring Case Managers and believe it should be Social Workers due to the amount  
of work.
