The April 25, 2023 Public Protection & Judiciary Committee meeting will be a hybrid meeting. Members  
of the public can either attend in person or virtually via Zoom.

Division of Juvenile Corrections:  
Department of Corrections Secretary Kevin Carr, Lance Horozewski and Anna Neal  
presented.  
Deferred Prosecution Program Data:  
Ozanne presented. Andrae requested additional data related to referrals by jurisdiction  
and recidivism. Ozanne explained what data was available and the limitations created due  
to staffing.

A motion was made by ROSE, seconded by GRAY, that the Minutes be approved.

PP&J MINUTES OF APRIL 10, 2023  
A motion was made by ROSE, seconded by GRAY, that the Minutes be amended  
by replacing April 26 with April 25 under Section C of the minutes. The motion

Carrie Springer presented.  
Committee discussed the legislative agenda and provided suggestions.  
Chair Andrae asked Springer to provide a redlined version of the changes to the  
legislative agenda for the committee to consider at the next meeting.
