The March 6, 2023 AAA Access Committee meeting will be a hybrid meeting. Members of the public can  
either attend in person or virtually via Zoom.  
The public can attend in person at the ADRC building, 2865 N Sherman Ave, Madison.

Discussion by committee members about outreach to community connections and what  
to discuss with older adults about services and needs.

Access Committee Description as presented. The motion carried by the

1. Case Management Reports-4th Quarter  
2022 Case Management Report  
Attachments:  
Discussion and questions by committee members about the repeated issues that come  
up in the Case Management report and what is being done to address the same issues  
County wide.  
2. Chair & Staff Reports  
-Discussion of activities for months that the committee does not meet. Goal is  
strengthening connections and building partnerships with agencies that support  
programs that promote diversity, equality and inclusion and belonging in non-native  
English speaking and immigrant communities, BIPOC community, LBGBTQ+  
community. Suggestions – visit Outreach and visit the Hmong Institute or other  
agencies committee members have connections with.  
b. Long discussion with committee members of who and how can they reach out to  
underserved populations. Community outreach would occur during months that the  
committee does not meet. Goal is strengthening connections and building partnerships  
with agencies that support programs that promote diversity, equality and inclusion and  
belonging in non-native English speaking and immigrant communities, BIPOC  
community, LGBTQ+ community. Have members send Claire Purkis a list of  
connections they have with different organizations and groups. Discussed going to  
Outreach and visit the Hmong Institute or other agencies committee members have  
connections with.

FARSETTA shared WAAN Aging Advocacy day was May 9 and registration is open  
until April 26.
